It was not an 'russian occupiers anti-semitic act'.
The jewish cemetery became abandoned after WWII because all Riga's jews were killed by Nazis.
There were nobody who took care about the graves of their relatives. In 50's cemetery became worst and worst, it was a garbage and very dangerous place for the local people because they were rubbed there during the dark time. Then city council decided to demolish the cemetery and make a park there.
